Fishing is fun but if you are looking for bass don't expect many legal sized ones yet. They do not seem to be growing as fast as the last time the lake was drained and refilled.

Called to reserve camping spot for from Tuesday to Sunday of the next week only to find out they don't take reservations over phone. We drive an hour and forty five minutes the next morning to be told they don't take reservations after noon. We got there about 11:15 and ask for a map with some open spaces to go pick out a spot Got back to gatehouse at 11:45 and had to wait for a camper to be registered. At 11:57 I walk to window and told the lady what spot I wanted. She said she didn't have time to take the reservation. She wasn't friendly from the time I walked to the gatehouse till when I left. Needless to said we didn't go back the next week and we will never go back. She needs to get some people skills!
My Stepdad was a park ranger here before he passed away. My family planted a tree here for him and it's beautiful, well kept. Thank you. A great place for family fun.
This is the 2nd best campground in all of Indiana. I've been here several times during my younger childhood. I almost got sucked up by a terrible storm, I played golf here, I drove all over the park, I swam, I caught over 30 fish in one day, I've just sat and watched the sunset coming over the lake. They're some of the most memorable experiences of my life, and I'll never forget them.
